Before making a quick dash to ELLE’s starry London Fashion Week party, fêted London designer Roksanda Ilincic attended the opening of Maison Triumph last night.
As the face of Triumph’s ‘Women In Making’ campaign, the ELLE Style Award winner will champion creativity and mentor women in business as part of a series of events at the lingerie brand’s London pop-up – which is open to the public until January 2014.
The subject on everyone’s lips? London Fashion Week, of course, and ELLE was able to tease out some tantalising clues as to what’s in store for Roksanda’s show on Monday.
After autumn/winter’s ‘exercise in romanticism with dark undertones’, Ilincic revealed that we can expect a change of gear for spring/summer 2014, promising ‘a burst of colour, with plenty of texture and a play on proportions’.
The designer even offered us a heads up on one of her favourite pieces of the yet to be revealed collection: ‘I really love the Resort Lynton dress, which has a strong architectural shaped sleeve. We created this style in a brightly coloured
